Coverage you confirm, not coverage we assert
Country counts and pool sizes on provider sites are headline numbers that rarely say how many addresses are usable in the country you need. We list targeting options here and put the authoritative coverage in your dashboard, where it can be current.
| Product | Targeting | Session |
|---|---|---|
| Residential proxies | Country targeting; finer targeting where the dashboard lists it | Rotating or sticky |
| Mobile proxies | Country and carrier where the dashboard lists them | Rotating or sticky |
| ISP proxies | Country, and city or provider where stock allows | Fixed for the term |
| Datacenter proxies | Country at order time | Fixed for the term |
| Web Scraper, SERP and Web Unblocker APIs | Location parameter on the request | Per request |
How to check coverage for your market
- Create an account and open the product you intend to buy. The coverage list for that product is shown there.
- Request a small sample from each country you need and record the address, its provider and its location from a public geolocation lookup.
- Run the harness from each location. Coverage that exists but fails on your target is not coverage.
A caution on geolocation
No geolocation database is exact, and databases disagree. An address that one lookup places in a city may be placed in a neighbouring one by another. Judge targeting by what your target site serves, because that is what your workload sees.
Test it on your own targets.
Create an account, run the measurement harness against your real workload, and read the numbers before you commit to anything.
