Residential proxy
A proxy whose exit address is assigned by an internet provider to a household connection.
Sites that classify visitors by network type tend to treat a household address differently from a hosting address. That is the reason residential proxies exist and the reason they cost more per request than datacenter ones.
Because the address belongs to a consumer connection, how it was obtained matters. A responsible network is built on opt-in participation, which is why the sourcing policy is worth reading.
